3月2日,汤姆·布南在Wielerclub Wattage播客节目中与前职业选手德克·德沃尔夫探讨时指出,塔代伊·波加查骑着“老旧”的自行车处于劣势。德沃尔夫则表示,如果波加查换上Jumbo-Visma、Ineos或Soudal-Quick Step的自行车,他的平均速度将提升2公里/小时。他调侃道:“(Colnago)无疑有很好的产品,但就像法拉利和保时捷一样,品牌之间仍有区别。”
布南提到Colnago近期出现了下滑,并认为他们还没有完全掌握空气动力学。尽管如此,他们现在正在追赶。

“We certainly are in contact with the teams every day, and we haven't heard any complaints about our bikes' competitiveness. In fact, they're thrilled with the equipment we've provided so far,” said Colnago CEO Nicola Rosin in a statement.
The dual approach of test ride and public debate is set to take place on March 18th, before the Milan-Sanremo spring classic race. Colnago pointed out that if Boonen and others accept the invitation.
There's no indication yet that Boonen has chosen “yes” or “no” to the invitation from an angry Italian bicycle manufacturer. If he and his companions really face off against Colnago, we can imagine them battling over statistical numbers between Colnago and Pinarello, Cervelo etc.
